RCM 120 is a communication module for remote data collection, monitoring, and control over GPRS network. It has the RS232 along with an optional RS485 with the modbus protocol interface to collect data from an external data collection module, and a built-in GPRS modem to communicate with a remote server. It also has digital inputs to get any status such as relay contacts, pulse inputs, etc., and relay outputs for remote control. An external data acquisition module, separately available from us for customized requirements, can be interfaced to this module. There is a local log memory for storing critical data while the remote server is disconnected and then can be latently transferred
The software system consists of server software, running either on a dedicated server machine or on a cloud, and client software. All the RCM120 devices will then get connected to the server where all data collection, monitoring, and control functions are implemented. The client software can run on any PC/Laptop and can access the data from the server with authentication.
The server software is a Windows-based application. It has a data base to which information of each device can be fed such as customer name, installation location and time, panel details, etc. There is also an option to group the devices pertaining to each customer. The customer can be given access to view information related to his devices using the client software. The server also logs data every hour and can be viewed on daily, monthly, or yearly basis. There is also an option to download the data into a text file and then print them.
Solar /Solar Pump Remote Monitoring System – It is an adaptation of our remote monitoring system for Solar power-based water pumping system to meet the requirements of the MNRE guidelines.
Manufacturers of UPS can monitor their installations over the GPRS network for critical data logging/maintenance, and also provide data access to their customers over the internet.
